Those silhouettes are all back in style. It's like we can't create anything new, it's all based on some sort of fakey nostalgia. Even the 80s throwbacks (barf) that are in these days mostly attract kids who were born in the late 80s or 90s and who never experienced Big Hair. (not that I had Big Hair. I had the taste to know that BH was ugly even if it was in style.)<BR/>Do you think we're entering another version of the 50s and 80s, where spending and home is King?Elizahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01378846842244475778noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20078324.post-83011794958211552242008-07-27T20:10:00.000-04:002008-07-27T20:10:00.000-04:00Judy, were the one with the blue bell-bottom jeans...Judy, were the one with the blue bell-bottom jeans with stars? I guess that is the influence of us 40 somethings waxing nostalgic for the comfort of our childhood years (while another unpopular war was going on). great synopsis of the current trends Tony, I really liked reading it. Personally I lean towards the colors of green tea :)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06858569382699600146noreply@blogger.com
